From Tokyo

By Train
  1. Take the Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Echigo-Yuzawa Station (75 min)
  2. Transfer to local train to Aniai Station (25 min from resort)
  3. Take resort shuttle bus or taxi from Aniai Station (25 min)

Total time: ~2.5 hours

By Highway Bus
  • Direct overnight/day buses available from Tokyo (Shinjuku) to Echigo-Yuzawa area
  • Time: 4-5 hours depending on route and traffic
  • Transfer to local transport to reach Aniai Station area, then shuttle/taxi to resort
From Aniai Station to Resort
  • Shuttle bus: Check resort website for schedule (usually timed with train arrivals)
  • Taxi: ~25 minutes, approximately ¥4,000-5,000

Tip: Book shuttle bus in advance during peak season. Consider renting a car from Echigo-Yuzawa for more flexibility.
